D409 – LD Light
The D409 Linear motion system is made from aluminium and is our lightest duty rail in the range.  With its very slim profile the D409 Linear Rail is considered to be the little brother to the E28. Ideal for light duty electronic applications the D409 is very competitively priced, whilst being a highly efficient linear motion system.

 

Carrier – AL40
Using aluminium keeps the weight down, whilst maintaining a high strength circulating carrier. Each carrier has a load capacity of 15kg, increasing the number of runners would therefore increase load capacity by the same factor.

 

Lubrication

The ball bearings used within our carriers are made from 100C6 chrome steel and are greased as standard with a high pressure grease for steel slides and a white grease for aluminium and stainless stainless slides. Upon request we can use food grease (compatible clean room), a high temperature grease, a Teflon free grease (for spray booths), grease free mounting (although we do not advice this option.)
